It's waiting on Max's layout at the moment but should be on the move, at least in Australia, any time at all.

Hi all.  I've just got up and found many comments and threads re wagons, etc.  Hopefully this will help.

I'm catching the train over to Melbourne tomorrow.  On Saturday I plan to visit SRman, Neil Wood and Gwiwer and photograph Matilda on each of their layouts.

Then I'll bring Matilda back on the plane and visit Iansa, Sol and Craig, who have expressed an interest, and photograph her on their layouts.

Then I thought I might post her to MikeC and John in Queensland who could send her to Perth to Marty - each one photographing her on their layouts, posting the photos here (or on the other thread ) and signing the Certificate. - Or to others before Marty if they put their hands up.

If that's everyone in Oz, I thought Marty might then post her to the first overseas candidate, who would repeat the process.

I'm hoping that by the time I have visited all the SouthOz members, the itinerary will be worked out and promulgated.

As always comments and suggestions (about the project) will be well received.

It sounds like you have your end well organised Max. It'll be great when the pictures start rolling in.

That's great Max. :thumbs

I'll have some kind of route worked out by the time it gets to Marty - probably either Canada or South America from Australia - there are date implications with both :roll:.

Photos of the locations can be posted in this thread then it keeps it all together under the "Matilda" banner.

As Max said, if there's anyone in Australia who's not already involved and would like to be - speak now or forever etc. etc............

That also goes for anyone else who isn't UK based.  Time is running out - climb aboard or you'll miss the train.

To join in, you only need to PM me with a "Yes, I'm in" and give me your address and phone number.

Rick.  I know you're new here.  We skin kangaroos - and we scale fish! :Red Card

Judging from some earlier pics of Rick's layout, it may be able to pick up a lizard or a good-sized Huntsman spider!!!   :mutley

Matilda should be crossing the South Australian / Victorian border about now. Hopefully bringing Max with her ;-)

She should be with Jeff SRman and with Neil Wood during tomorrow morning our time, Friday evening for European time zones.

Penhayle Bay is ready and waiting though other commitments mean that we may not have as many people present as we first hoped.

You will have to do some reading Tim, but we are sending a wagon around the world "Matilda" to be photographed on members layouts and to sign a certificate. All before the September show.

If you want in you must send Petermac your address and phone number immediately.

Sure hope you do, because there's not many of us here in the US.

Wayne

Jeff - we had a couple of penguins but they wouldn't leave their addresses so I had to delete them. :cheers:cheers

I had hoped for Asia but I don't think we've got any members there.

The only one we had, from India, got deleted a week or two ago. Shame that.

Ah yes - I do remember we had an Indian member at one time.  We also had someone based in Singapore at one time I think.
