One of the challenges of photographing small objects is getting good depth of field. Software is available to help.. The 3 following pictures were taken by using my Samsing S7 phone, held still but selecting a different focal point for each picture. The result as you can see is different sections of each picture look out of focus. ![]() ![]() ![]() By using "picture stacking" software like Helicon Focus, the three pictures can quickly and effortlessly combined to create one picture with all the best bits. ![]() I have no association with the software I mention and others are available, just passing on something I am playing with. |

Further investigation and I found a thread started by me in a former incarnation of myself about the same subject form 6 years ago !!! Id forgotten all about using this before. Sorry folks just put it down to advancing years !! Click here for the Thread by the younger me.. |
